About the Author
Robert Rogers, of Eckford, Michigan, enlisted as a Private in the 8th Michigan Cavalry Company A on December 15, 1862. He was mustered into service at the age of 27 on December 30. Robert Rogers was discharged from service on September 28, 1863 at Camp Nelson in Kentucky. He is buried at gravesite #1527 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky.Documents for this Author:
