Dear Sister I will write a
few lines to you to let you know
how we are Erastus is well he is
down town taking care of the
sick Horses I am a little better than
when I wrote to you before I have had
a pretty hard time of being sick
I have had a gathering in my ear
catarrh and a bad cough all at
one time we have not
got a letter this week eight
Companys of our regiment
are a going to leave here next
tuesday for Louisville Kentucky
our Company is on that is going
we have had very fine weather
here this spring I cant
think of much to write to day
