The resignation of [ ? ] 1st Lieut
William H Brown Batty F 1
st Mich
Light Artillery
is hereby accepted, to take effect March 15 1864, with the condition
that he shall receive no final payment until he exhibits satisfactory evidence from
the head of the Ordnance Department, and the proper accounting officers of the
Treasury, that he has made all prescribed returns, and is in no wise indebted to
the Government.
