Dear Parents
I am well and hope you
all are we have been 20 dayes here now
we are out of candels and I am writing
by the light of a fire place Capt
Henderson is sick and Chester Hatch
I have got comand of the company
We have been fighting here about
every other day The hospitals are
full of wounded the roads are very
muddy we leave here at 9 oclock
tomorrow morning and move
oute 2 miles to a new camp
I have not got the box you sent
me I will have to close hoping
you are all well I will write as
soon as we get in camp so good
