Bunn I received a letter from [   ?   ] Campbell asking for information in reg- ard to your Husband Job. T. Bunn. He was takin prisoner with me + went with me to and- ersonville + from thare to Vicksburg Miss. from thare we took the steamer Sultana. I was on it when the axident hapen- ed I mach I that is all. I know about him though I think he was drownded in the river for I was at Memph- is for 2 or three days. I did not see anythig of him after + I [   ?   ] I [   ?   ] [  ?  ] if he had not [  ?  ] drown- ed for I came through with the men that was saved to Camp Chase Ohio. I saw all of them but never have hurd a word from him I [   ?   ] the CO Office of the Regt. that would [  ?  ] the [  ?  ] place for you to get his papers as I am [  ?  ] a going to the [          ?          ] are, If you want his papers write to Lt. A. G. Bu[  ?  ] [   ?   ]. Co. L. 1st Mich Eng. Washington D. C. Th[   ?   ] I will do anythig to help you that I can as I respected him as a soldier + a gentleman very much Yours Truly, J. E.
