You wrote that
you wanted me
to wash often and
comb my head
I do that thing
when I get ready
to start of for
the armey Mrs. gidley gave
me a nice towel all folded
up nice I did not want
to take it but she
would not take no for
an answar When I went
to use it I found a
very nice comb
in it and I wrote a
letter to her and thanked
her very much for it so
I am all right on the louse problem? you need
not fear for me for
I shall come home to
you again and that
before many moths to
it is getting time for
me to go on guard
and I must close
for this time bu I
will write again soon
give my live to all your
folks and mine and
all the rest of the
folks now good by
