Dear Sister Met
After waiting most
two weeks for a answer to
my first letter I thought I
would try and write a little
more I am well yet and
like the place first rate
it has been quite warm
here most wer since I have
been here but it took
rather a sudden change
day before yesterday and
it is pretty cold here
now the rest of the boys
are all well except Frank
Wells he has got the measles
but he is better now
he is getting a long first
rate the doctor thinks
he will
[ ? ] a round in a
little while. Ike is as ruff and
tuff as ever the same old
Ike. We are out to work
most every day we don’t
have to work very hard here
Sabin got a letter from John
Marshal the other day she
said he went to singing school
[ ? ] other night and went
home with Augusta for the
second time he says he
is having fine times and
I hope he will him and George
Tawback is all the Boys that
is left now he says I would
like to be thare long enough
to go to scholl a little while
so a sleigh riding warm my
feet take my medicine etc etc
John said that Mary
Brittain was a going a way
in a few days I should
think it would be rather
lone sum if Mary does go
I did not hardly think she
would go I was sory to
hear that Mart was failing
I was inhopes he would get
better I should like to
hear from Mary first rate
but I haven’t wrote to
her yet tell father to
write to mee I have not
wrote to Grand pa yet I
would like to hear how he
is a getting a long. I cant
think of any more to write
this time. tell mee all

because I do. Good by for this time Write Soon
