Dear parents
I will write you a few lines to let you
no how i am a getting along i am
well at present and hope these few
lines wil find you the same we have
had our pay and i have exprest
it to ypsilanti in your names
sixty dollars and i will send
you the receipt in this letter
and pay up them nots
as fast as they com due
we shal leave here to night
i looked for you here but you
did not cum give my
resep
respects to all my friends
no more at present
