I am well at presant and I hope these few lines will find you the same I
got a letter from ann and one from

from you and a likeness and I want you to tell mary to send me hers and
to answer some of them letters that I wrote I have not had but one letter
from her since I have been down South it is a raining here now it
snowed last night and it is a very bad day and wee have been payed off
and I and I will send you a dollar as a presant to you for that likeness –
no more at presant so good bye
