Erastus Rogers, of Marshall, Michigan, enlisted as a Private in the 8th Michigan Cavalry Company A on December 9, 1862. He was mustered into service on December 30 at the age of 21. Rogers was listed as a prisoner of war on November 6, 1863 at Concord, Tennessee. He was returned on February 6, 1864 at an undisclosed location. On August 3, he was taken prisoner at Mulbury Creek, Georgia. Erastus Rogers’ discharge method and date is unknown.Documents for this Author:
