My Dear Wife
I received your
letter of the 7
of feveburary this
morning This
is the first day I have been able
to write since I was taken sick
which was two weeks ago last
sunday this will account for
your not getting any letters
I could not think of dictating
to anyone what to write you
I was taken with inflamation
on the lungs I was quite sick
a few days I got your letter
of the 26
th of Jan. after I was taken
sick But i am geten beter
And Will Close this
And will rite a gin
Dont neglect to rite
as Son as you get this
