Dear Father Mother
brothers and sisters
and friends we are
all well and hope
that thes few linds will
find you in the same helth
I got a letter from you las
night daet the 18 of feb staten
that you had sent us a
box we got the box yesday noon
I was never so thankful in
my life to get so menny
thing from home it poot
me in thout whar ever thing
came from the apples poot
me in mind of the old apple
tree in the North orthed
tell Eugene Woodward that
I thank him for
popcorn that he sent me
and John and Charley

out on drill now and I
