About the Author
Augustus Fleming enlisted in the 11th Michigan Cavalry on October 10, 1863 at Adrian, Michigan. He was mustered into Company H as a 19-year old Private on October 16. On July 20, 1865, Fleming was transferred from the 11th Michigan Cavalry to the 8th Michigan Cavalry. Augustus Fleming was discharged from service on September 22, 1865 at Nashville, Tennessee.Documents for this Author:
