Well Aurther
I had to laugh
when I read your letter saying you wanted
to speak to the women in Mumfresboro
wonder if you would not like to visit
with your Mother and me once in a
while, our Mother was here the other day
she thought if you was home she
would be happy as your Father is doing
pretty well now and Uncle Jack has
paid them some money, your garden
looks very nice but it does seem kind
of lonesome with out you not that
you are so handsome but then we all
think you are kind of clever but
you and I will talk no more of good
looks though I have not seen any
thing of those pictures you and
Jackey promised me supose they will
come bye and bye I have an album
and am anxious to get it filled up
I have Billys it is very nice and Iasahs
if you do not hury home Billy will
be a married man before you get
home, the children often talk of
you and want to see you we go out
riding almost every week and go
to you house you Father come in the
other morning and said he was packing
a box for you I gave him some candy
and maple sugar for you and Jackey
but he could not send it all hope
may get it safe, I should have
written you before but suposed your
folks write so often that I could say
nothing that would be interesting to
you Ebe be will write you as soon as he
hardly gets him to write at all
I hope this will find you
well, from your Aunt
