Regiment: 2nd Michigan Cavalry Battles Mentioned: Historical Figures: Franklin Tenn June the 1st /63 today I send $50 00 by express whitch you will get at berlin you can do what ever you think best with it only be sure and keep an account of all that Thomas and we sends separate and also of all the expens you ar  at in seing to all while we ar gone so that there will be no trubble no way we will get two months more pay soon I think I send home also my  Over Coat and Thomas sends one Blanket whitch we ar not allowed to carry through the Summer Campaign I will rather send and get it in the fall or draw a new one the box containing them will come to Berlin in your name Wm Porter and Daniel Chapin has got some things in to you Can I keep Chapins things till he calls for them and send Porters home there is Labills am of all of the things so that you can tell them apart John Wasson we ar ordered to be ready to move at a moment warning I think we will move forward
