Dear Bro.
Your letter in answer to
mine being on business with
my friend Schillhores. I directed
the P.M. to deliver it to him
if received in my absence, which
he did where succeeced, as I
was then absent, so I did not
see it until about the time
I was leaving home for Detroit
last Monday, and then
I noticed what you had
written in relation to Andrews
[ ? ]. Dr Ragues informed
me that he is at home. I
want him to come and see
us before he returns to the
Regt. He can get some security
I have no doubt.
When I left home all seem
well.
I have only time to
scratch a word, a word

turn without seeing us
