My Dear Darling Husband.
Loved Gardie.
Precious boy
how I do want to see you. how happy I
would be if we were only to-gether, and
you would too for I know you want
to see your little Wify.
I forgot to tell you that your Mother
sent me a little maple sugar by Bernard,
it looks real nice but I am not going to
eat any of it until my boy can eat it
with me. it is nearly eleven oclock the
folks have all gone to bed and I guess it
is time that I went too but I wanted to
write a little. I did not get that letter
to-night but I shall certainly get one
to-morrow.
I hope Uncle Eber will come for Bernard
to-morrow for I do not want them
here much longer, I guess I am a little
bit ugly, but I am tired, and tired
of them.
It has been dreadfull, not warm, but
hot to day. I wish it would rain it
has been so long since we have had
any rain that every thing is suffering
for it.
June 3d I do not know as I have ambition enough
to write to-day but will try. the last letter
I had from you was written a week ago
yesterday. I hope I will get one to-night.
Uncle John has lost his woman. Mrs.
Mc- dont you suppose he feels bad. Joe
came home and he and his wife started
for Maine last Monday.
Our birds enjoy this warm weather, they
look as fat and nice as can be.
My Darling you cannot know how I
love you. Ever your little wify.
