Cosin Lucina I received you most welcome letter and was glad to hear from you your note found me well and I I do hope this may find you as it leaves me tougher than a cus happier than a [    ?    ] in hell or any other [  ?  ] Lucina excuse me for not writing to you before.. and I will doo better here after I was very glad that you rote to me and it is with pleasure that I answer your letter.. I would like to see you and all the rest of my young friends..we have a dance every [  ?  ] in town in a large hall but wee dont have any of our northern girles to dance with there is some very pretty girles here but not as nice as our northern girles wee just make them get up and [   ?   ] wee expect an attact here every day wee are ready for any [  ?  ] that is aminto come and pitch in.. Lucina please to rite and tell mee whare hal is and whare to direct to and I will rite to him.. tell him to rite [  ?  ] Give my reguards to lile and all friends if I have any in that part of the country.
