Dearest Ellin
I recieved your letter 27
th and was glad
to here from you and that you was
well and the rest of them i am
well and in good helth i am helther
than i was when i left home the rest
of the boyes is well bill Cole is well
again there is no excitement here
i exspect we will have a good time
time the forth of july i whish that
it was so that you could git your
likness tackon with dwelly and send
it in a letter it would do me good
to see it if you have not got
the money git some of mr trip and
i will pa him when I com home i
wrote in my other letter that we
would start for home the 14
th but
we cannot tel some time we
here won thing then another
but we will come home as
sone as we can the male has just
come in and murry goot a letter
from father we was glad to here from
him we would like to git a letter
every day but i suppose you
cant spend time but write as
often as you can i wrote a letter
to uncle jacob crandall yesterday
i would like to write to all of
my friends if i could but we
have not got our pay yet so we
have to write as we can i dont
want you to forgit that likeness
tell father that they are cutting
wheat here and grass they are smart
down here i cant think of much
to write i want you to write
as sone as you git this no more at
present so good by from your
