Dear Ellin
I will write you a few lines to let you
no that i am wel exscept a big bile and hope tat
these few lines wil find you and
the children the same i have just
arrived here i found the boyes al
wel but chancey hulsted he is
quite sick tel mary that thomas
tyler had gone thomas shurman
is here and i found an old chum
here that was in prison with me
his name is James tuttle he lives
down below the rock they send
some from here most every day
i dont no when they wil send
me i dont no but i wil
get a furlo fore a few days
if i can i wil come home thar is
not mutch excitement her now
i cant think of mutch this time
write as often as you can and I
wil do the same give my
respects to al inquiring
