About the Author
Adelbert H. Weston (b. January 30, 1842), of Greenbush, Michigan, enlisted as a Private in the 7th Michigan Cavalry Company B on October 20, 1862 at Maple Rapids, Michigan. He was mustered into service on November 13 at the age of 22. Weston received several promotions including: Corporal, June 15, 1864; Sergeant, June 7, 1865; and, Hospital Steward, June 1865. Adelbert H. Weston was discharged from service on November 7 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.Documents for this Author:
