About the Author
Henry Starkey, of Detroit, Michigan, enlisted as a 1st Lieutenant in the 5th Michigan Cavalry Company B on August 14, 1862. He was mustered into service on August 30 at the age of 34. Henry Starkey resigned from service on November 2, 1863 and died on October 28, 1888.Documents for this Author:
