About the Author
Myron H. Southwick enlisted as a Private in the 8th Michigan Infantry Company H on February 16, 1864 at Hartland, Michigan. He was mustered into service at the age of 21 on February 29. On June 1, 1865, Southwick was promoted to Hospital Steward. Myron H. Southwick was discharged from service on July 30 at Delaney House in Washington, D.C.Documents for this Author:
