About the Author
Private Ithmar Rosegrant, of Ottawa County, Michigan, enlisted in the 2nd Michigan Cavalry Company C on September 16, 1861 at Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was mustered into service on October 2 at the age of 20. On December 26, 1862, Rosegrant was taken prisoner at Bacon Creek, Kentucky. Ithmar Rosegrant was discharged from service on October 22, 1864 at Nashville, Tennessee.Documents for this Author:
