About the Author
On February 25, 1864, Private Daniel C. Larabee of Bethel, Michigan enlisted in the 1st Michigan Light Artillery Batty L at Coldwater, Michigan. He was mustered into service that same day at the age of 20. Larabee was wounded on February 10, 1865 at Harper Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Daniel C.
