About the Author
Frank A. Haskell resided in Madison, Wisconsin when he enlisted in the 6th Wisconsin Infantry Field and Staff on July 5, 1861. He was mustered into service as a 1st Lieutenant and transferred to Company I on that same day. On April 1, 1863, Haskell was transferred from Company I to Company D. He was discharged for promotion to Colonel and transferred to the 36th Wisconsin Infantry on February 9, 1864. Frank A. Haskell died on June 3 at Cold Harbor, Virginia.Documents for this Author:
