George W. Fullington, of Kent County, Michigan, enlisted as a Private in the 2nd Michigan Cavalry Company F on September 9, 1861 at Lowell, Michigan. He was mustered into service on October 2 at the age of 19. He was discharged due to a court martial on August 17, 1865. George W. Fullington lived in Cedar Springs, Michigan after the war.
