About the Author
William Eaegle, of Clinton County, Michigan, enlisted as a Private in the 3rd Michigan Cavalry Company B on October 8, 1861 at Greenbush, Michigan. He was mustered into service on October 11 at the age of 23. On January 27, 1864, Eaegle re-enlisted at La Grange, Tennessee. William Eaegle was discharged from service on February 12, 1866 at San Antonio, Texas. He lived in Cadillac, Michigan after the war.Documents for this Author:
