Rollin M. Congdon, of Bradley, Michigan, enlisted as a Private in the 1st Michigan Engineers Company K on August 25, 1864 at Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was mustered into service that same day at the age of 32. Congdon was listed as joining the regiment on October 31 and was discharged from service on June 6, 1865 at Washington, D. C. Rollin M.
