Well in the first place I am troubled with the “rum gully on the pan tool”. and the School master recommends “squirt essence of squat root to take every two rods” but I cant find any such stuff in the state of monroe can you find any up there if you can I wish that you would send me some. I guess that it took you some two or three weeks to make up that letter. I dont blieve you could do it again. I hardly think that there was sense enough in your letter to pay the postage on. and this letter has got still less. but dear me I have got tired of house keeping and going to school too but we have had company most every night since Ma has been gone but we wont have any company any more and I expect that I will have the gum pluggens before school is out.
