In Camp Near Moss
Crick tennessee
Wall Sina this evening
finds me with pen in
hand to rite a few lines
to you to let you know of
my helth which is very good
at present and hope these few
will find you the same I will
say Sina I rote 3 letters to you
and have received no answer but
I still keep on writing for a
while longar I wrote one letter
After Chritmas and put 29 Dollars
in it rite if you git it or
not and if you do then I will
send some more in the a
nother so Sina it is dark to
try to trite but I will so the
best I can Sina for the present
and do better some other time
Wall Sina we lay in Camp
her and have ben her for 2
Weeks and dont know how
long we shall stay her for the
wrebs lay in site of ous but
they dont come at ous for they
fear to thismorning as we
went after forage they stoped
our boys but in a few moment
we had all ther picket post
of 30 men we down this caper
3 or 4 times so they are fiting
fraid to put out ther pickets
post for from Camp they say
old long street is in the lits
and will have to sreder his
force up to ous or do worse
so I think in a few days
we will be in persesion of tennessee
and then I think this ware
is on it last leg for this
