I felt very disapointed Saturday night when Uncle came home and said there was no letter, and I expect Walace here to day sometime to so good By as I expect he will go away tomorrow so I thought I would send you a few lines by him, But I shall feel very anxious till I get your next. I am sorrow to here you dont feel very well, But I am not suprised at it eather. tost about as you have been, I should prob like to twist that mans neck round that put you all in the guard house, poor dear Boys I felt for you all. But I hope you have reached your Regiment before now. Geo was up to Mrs Fisks Saturday they had a letter from one of the boys that you sleep with & he sent her word you was all well that is all I heard I fell thankfull you are where you are for they have called for 5000 more men. The draft is to take place the 10 of next month, and it would be a thousand to one that you would have been drafted I had a letter last night too from dear Fany they was very pleased with your likeness but [  ?  ] you had to go away when you have time I want you to write to Fany she was going to write you when she got my letter to tell them about you going, their [  ?  ] are as follows John Roberts Clinton Post Office Lenawae County, Michigan. and now my Darling Boy thou art hartly welcome for what little I have ever been able to do for the as for [  ?  ] I have had that allready in the happy feelings I have had to think I have been able to do any thing towards contributing to thy comfort during the time you was here, I only regrett I am not able to get to the and do a little more sometimes, but now all I can do is to commend the to one who is far more able to do for the and my prayer is that he may watch over the and preserve the from all dangers Both temporally and [  ?  ] belive me by Child I feel it a great comfort to my heart. to now that I have great confidence in the, and I dont think thou will be easily led astray. I must now tell you that I let Geo have a party last Friday night they had a firstrate time. he had about 14 Uncle was not well pleased at tme leting him have it for I was so very [  ?  ] I was very sick one week after you whent away, But this week I feel better so far, and now my Dear Boy I dont now of any thing more to say Walace will tell you all. he brought some velvet for sleeping capts for you, he paid for his makeing But I made yours and it was a pleasure for me to do so, I would have made his too had I nown before he got it done. and now my Child I must bid you fare farewell for the preasent, write me as often as you can and tell me all I hope soon to here from dear Will to.
