I feel to want to stay there for I think you are not in as much danger. I dont not but before this you will have had a sour full letter from your poor dear mother, I received one last saturday night and thou I had been worrying for such news ever since I rote to you about what I felt. still I ensure you it came a stroke my heart allmost bleeds for your mother. Uncle whont believe it, now I want some of you to write to Mrs Baker’s Brother and find out how he got is imformation [torn away] he [torn away] about it. and [torn away] send [torn away] word. then we shall get tompson or some body to write to washenton where the deaths are all regestered of thous that die in the Rebles prison. then we shall now all about it so when you write tell your mother that is what we shall do. As soon as we can now what he says? Answer your mother letter right away and I did not now then. how we could find out, so you tell her to forward us the information as soon as she gets it and will do [  ?  ] we can to now the truth theire are many falsh reports God grant this may prove ours to but I have not one grain of hope. ho how sick it as made me this 2 or 3 days deer child how hard and what he must have suffered and us friendly hand to oh anything for him. God all mighty grant the a better fate my poor boy than they Brothers as been if I could but get your mother and do anything to comfort her But Alass Alass it is not in the power of mortall God alone can comfort her deepley wounded heart. John would not let me go if I could because he thinks we should only make each outher worse. send me all the information you can get, and then I trust we shall be able to find out the turth some way this as been a sourfull Christmas to us all. All thou my boy did all he could to make it pleasant he bought. Pa a new necktie and a backcomb for my hair, and a nice shale pin for me. Geo got a hair of wash leather [  ?  ] a necktie. and tooth brush we got us Chrismas dinner [  ?  ] thing it upset me till I would do nothing. I dont of much news to tell you only I am happy to here Hreby Fisk is geting better and I think Miss Sarah [  ?  ] will soon change her name to Mrs Currierhorn you will remember him he was here when you and hour William had your forty, I think he can not do better, and I shall be very happy to receive his sister as my neice if cercumstances did but permitts.
