Gorden of our Company now acting Adjt. of the regiment the old editor of the enquirer and the officer that enlisted me I have sent you some paper before this let me know if you ever got any of them we ar all well Covert Rosegrant and some of the other boys got back yesterday from camp Chase Ohio they look fine they say that the others ar gone home things ar all quiet here at present the weather is vrry warm now I have not got any letters since the first of the Month I am looking for a whole mail bay full one of these days we ar getting new Potatoes now and the berrys ar ripe. now to and we will have green corn before long but we soldiers would be better of without these things I think nomore at this time From                     John Wasson
