well John we have been on
the move for the last 6 weeks
the reble army was getting behind

Well Net
I am not going to
write it all to john we are
within 8 miles of the reble
army and our officers expect
a fight but I don’t care whether
we have a battle or not. It is
a pleasant day so I guess I
will step over and take dinner
with you and John and see how
you get along If I come I
wont have time
to stay long I have been as far
north as the ohio river and now
we are going right back south
again I begin to get tired of
this southern country when
we go as far north as Louisville
again I hope we will go farther
north and not have to come back again
you must keep John all strait
if you have to correct him once
in a while make him mind you
