There is nothing of any
information going on here now
we are under marching orders to
be ready to go at a moments notice
but I dont think we will go in a
few days yet from here.
Well I have not seen anything of
Capt Stewart yet & I don’t know
as I shall & more I dont care a
cuss if I dont get a commission I
have only 11 months to serve if I do
I will have to serve 2 years longer
likely But if I can get a commission
without going to too much trouble I
[ ? ]
except of it
I would not take much pain to get up as
Liutenant but if it comes in the natural
[ ? ] the

it that then I could at

I will go over & see
Ephriam Sunday & see if the box
is come. I am afraid it wont come
straight. Jim Niles and heman

don’t think they ever will get it
oh if you have got so many
[ ? ] up
in mich as we have here I pity you
I saw Ephriam about 10 days ago
He was well & enjoying himself
