Regiment: 13th Michigan Infantry Battles Mentioned: Historical Figures: Camp on Lookout Mountain Tenn July 23d /64 Sister Mary i O has become nesesary for me to write you a few lines to ask if you ever intended to answer my letters I have written three or fore letters to you since I have had one from you the last I got from you I go the day I got hurt that was the 27th of June the 8th of July I sent for some stamps they have had plenty of time to get here by this time and I am out of stamps I hope that you are not sick I think it is very strange if you are not sick I think you should write and it cant be that you are sick for some of the boys have had a letter from that neighbor hood every few days and if you are sick I would hear of it I got a letter from Park last tuesday he was well and so was harvey it has been over two weaks since I have had a letter from Mich except from my unknown friend she writes every time. Mary I have not been able to go out to the point yet but as soon as I can walk I will go out thar and get that picture my foot is gaining sloly but it will be a long time before I can step on it yet I am a going to chattanooga tomorrow if I can get a horse what is father a doing I have not hurd from thair in so long I have forgotton I suppose that every body is buisey now cutting wheat the boys are all out at work this afternoon and I am dreadfull lonesom I have read so many novels that I am sick of them I hae never got any papers that you have sent Mary I will stop for I guess that you will get sick of reading this stuff before you get this letter half read. so I will bid you good by from Walter Pullman To Mrs. P.
