Dear Father
I take this
opportunity to let you
know when we shall leave
the Lt Colnel told us at
the breakfast table this
morning that we should
leave on wensday we will
get our uniform to day

I thought I would write
and let you know so
you could meet us at
Detroit I dont know there

gone abroad that the boys
say they haint a going

to write a letter home
this morning and tell
