Regiment: 6th Michigan Cavalry Battles Mentioned: Historical Figures: Febuary 1st 1863 Well I am not don yet this is the next morning and I in the same fix that I was yesterday only I am not as tired as I was last knight but my head aches som this morning I went in and saw Ream and he looks fit you may bet but I wont write any more now So Good bye Write as soon as you get this From S D Mills to C Hamilton Well I wanted to write a few lines more and I am going to on this paper but I will say that you must excuse all mistakes and bad writing I have had one letter more from you than from any one else ask Sarah if she has got over being mad yet tell her if she has that I would lik an answer to that letter that I wrote her but I havent wrote anough to pay for geting this I am geting tired of siting up and I will haf to stop tell Louisa that I will answre her letter fore long you spoke of our being in grand this winter wish that we had for if I had bin sick I wouldnt went to the hospital tell your father and mother that I hant any one yet and that I send my best Respects to them and all the rest of the folks it is geting so dark that I cant hardly see But you didnt tell me the meaning of that last bit you wrote in your other letter and I want you to tell me the meanings, of it if you please So good bye From your friend S.
