Dear Jane I have neglected
to or rather delayed writing for a
week, received your last a week ago
today sold your shaker took the
money & your yarn went down to the
office Monday had it weighed it would
have cost 76 cents to send it we thought it
would not pay. Otho is hear will start
for Burr Oak tomorrow or Tuesday &
I will send the thing by him perhaps he
will not get there within 1 or 2 weeks but
thought it would be the best & in fact the
only way. Now about the shaker I sold
it to Mrs Hathaway for 5 six pence the
best I could do. Duane saw Emory he gave
him an order for 3# yesterday & we have
not had a chance to go & see if we could
get it cashed, but I will send you
3 dollars off your money & your
order will be good for it when you
get home, your yarn it rather fine
but it is beautiful when knit, I wish you
could let me have that hank of coarse yarn
off yours I could foot Duane a pair off
cotton socks with it, I will pay you in full
in the fall, how did have you managed
with that note off Reames or did Daniel
take it, Ma wants you to be sure & get
your flax got out if you can. Aunt Kit
