My Darling Husband.
Loved Gardie.
There is
nothing to write this afternoon
that I think of but I thought I
must write a little so to send
another five by the next mail.
for I fear you will need it badly
before you get there. I thought of
sending some when you first wrote
of losing that. and then thought
perhaps you would get what you
had loaned and would not
wish me to. I wish now that I
had.
Celia had a Canary given to her
the other day. it is a female bird.
and we borrowed a singer and
put in the cage with it. they are
dreadfull loving and comenced
building a next to day. I hope they
will hatch som male birds. then
I can have a singer.
Accept this short letter
with love + kisses from Wify.
Love your Mary. she loves you
