Dear friend I
received leather yesteday
it was dated April the
16 it had ben back in
in a nuther company I often
think of you I shood like
to be with you to day and go

thair is som of the nices farms
you ever see in Missippy
it was all wilderness most
through Alabama every
Farmer has from 5000 to 2000
akers of land and is all mos
t all in corn thay have
from 25 to 200 slaves men and
wimen work the corn with
mules thay live on corn bread
