Irvin Wellman resided in Leslie, Michigan when he enlisted in the 7th Michigan Cavalry Company G on December 24, 1862. He was mustered into service as a Sergeant on January 23, 1863 at the age of 23. On June 17, 1865, Wellman was promoted to 1st Sergeant. Irvin Wellman was discharged from service December 28 at Omaha, Nebraska.Documents for this Author:
