About the Author
Chaplain William C. Way was born on July 31, 1824 in East Avon, New York. He was living in Plymouth, Michigan when he enlisted in the 24th Michigan Infantry Field and Staff on July 26, 1862 at Detroit, Michigan. He was mustered into service on August 15 at the age of 38. William C. Way was discharged from service on June 30, 1865 at Detroit, Michigan. He died on September 3, 1896.Documents for this Author:
