Avery Stratton was residing in Kalamazoo, Michigan when he enlisted in the 13th Michigan Infantry Company E on December 20, 1861 at Kalamazoo. He was mustered into service as a 19-year old Private on January 17, 1862. Avery Stratton was discharged from service on July 25, 1865 at Louisville, Kentucky.Documents for this Author:
