About the Author
Hiram D. Parker enlisted in the 15th Michigan Infantry Company F on November 12, 1861 at Holly, Michigan. He was mustered into service on January 29, 1862 as a 22-year old Musician. Parker re-enlisted in the service on March 11, 1864 at Scottsboro, Alabama. On September 1, he was promoted to Principal Musician. Hiram D. Parker was discharged from service on August 13, 1865 at Little Rock, Arkansas. He lived in Edmore, Michigan after the war.Documents for this Author:
