About the Author
Edgar O’Connor was born in Ohio. He graduated from the United States Military Academy on July 1, 1854. O’Connor had prior service in the U.S. Army from July 1, 1854 to October 22, 1858. He was residing in Beloit, Wisconsin when he enlisted in the 2nd Wisconsin Infantry Field and Staff on August 3, 1861. He was mustered in that same day as a Colonel. Edgar O’Connor died on August 28, 1862 at Gainesville, Virginia.Documents for this Author:
