About the Author
Albert Morey, of Lapeer County, Michigan, enlisted as a Private in the 7th Michigan Infantry Company E on August 19, 1861 at Monroe, Michigan. He was mustered into service at the age of 21 on August 29. Morey re-enlisted on December 18, 1863 at Stevensburg, Virginia and was mustered in on December 19. Albert Morey was taken prisoner in August of 1864 at Deep Bottom Run, Virginia. There is no further information.Documents for this Author:
