Oliver E. Leming, of Wayne County, Michigan, enlisted as a Musician in the 9th Michigan Infantry Company E on August 22, 1861 at Detroit, Michigan. He was mustered into service at the age of 21 on October 15. Leming re-enlisted on December 25, 1863 at Chattanooga, Tennessee. His promotions included Corporal on December 28 and Sergeant on October 16, 1864. Oliver E. Leming was discharged on September 15, 1865 at Nashville, Tennessee.Documents for this Author:
