Frank B. Knause, of Calhoun County, Michigan, enlisted in the 6th Michigan Infantry on July 1, 1861 at Fort Wayne, Michigan. He was mustered into Company E as an 18-year old Private on August 20. Knause re-enlisted on February 23, 1864 at Port Hudson, Louisiana. Frank B. Knause was discharged from service on September 15, 1865 at Jackson, Michigan.Documents for this Author:
